The 2012 Stonington Vineyards Summer Wine Festival will take place between July 21, 2012 – July 22, 2012.
The vineyard will have live music, food vendors, wine tastings, and CASE DISCOUNTS over the weekend of Saturday, July 21, 2012 – July 22, 2012. Stonington Vineyards Summer Wine Festival hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Stonington Vineyards Summer Wine Festival 2012 Tickets
The prices for Stonington Vineyards Summer Wine Festival tickets are cheaper if you purchase them in advance. Tickets are $14 per adult (in advance) or $16 at the door. Members of the Cellar Society pay a discount price of $13.00. Those 17 and under get free admission when accompanied by a parent. They ask that guests please donate a dollar to the Garden Arts Center. Purchase tickets online at StoningtonVineyards.com or at the gate.
Stonington Wine Festival Events
Besides food and wine, the Stonington Vineyards Summer Wine Festival will have live music with Johnny & The East Coast Rockers. The group is a Rhythm and Blues dance band lead by Johnny MacLeod. They play a lot of covers of 40s,50s and 60s songs and their own original music. They’re fun style is a mix of blues, swing, jazz and r&b. You can also catch Johnny & The East Coast Rockers performing at Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun and the Newport Blues Cafe in Rhode Island.
About Stonington Vineyards
Each year the vineyard hosts the Stonington Vineyards Summer Wine Festival. This CT Winery was established in 1989. The vineyard makes over 5,000 cases of wine each year. They produce Chardonnay, Triad Rose, Vidal Blanc, Reisling, Seaport White, and Cabernet Franc. Most of their wine is sold at the vineyard but they also sell to fine wine shops in Connecticut and local restaurants. In 2012 the vineyard celebrated their 25th anniversary.

The Vineyards is open to the public rom May 1st through December 30th of each year. Hours are Monday – Friday 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday hours are 11:00 am to 5:oo p.m. The Stonington Vineyard offers tours every dat at 2:00 p.m.
