Looking for information on the 2012 Quassy Oktoberfest? Quassy will host its 21st Annual Oktoberfest over the weekend of Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30, 2012. The event will take place in the Fieldside Pavilion. There will be live music (usually German music and a mix of fun oldies), German food (including bratwurst and German sandwiches), German beer and dancing. The park house during Oktoberfest at Quassy are Noon to 6:00 p.m. Admission to Oktoberfest is free but you’ll need to pay for parking (around $6 per car, buses cost more). Quassy Oktoberfest Details
Each year the Quassy Oktoberfest features ethnic German food and music in addition to the rides at Quassy. Last year, music included the Rhythm Band and dance performances by Harugari junior Schuhplattlers and Alpenland Tanzer Dancers. There was also a Connecticut Volkswagon Car Show.
