The Litchfield Jazz Festival 2012 will be held at the Goshen Fairgrounds over the weekend of August 10 through August 12, 2012. The Jazz Festival will showcase different jazz groups, a live auction and presentations / discussions with musicians. Litchfield Jazz Camp students will also perform during the Festival.
Litchfield Jazz Festival Tickets and Discounts
Litchfield Jazz Festival ticket prices will cost $35 for lawn seating on Friday, Saturday and Sunday if you buy tickets at the festival. Lawn Seating lets visitors sit outdoors, view the stage and hear the music with outdoor speakers.
Tickets at the Gate
Tent tickets, available for Saturday and Sunday cost $65.00 per day. Tent ticket holders get access to student concerts, artist presentations, children’s activities, food and crafts for sale. Those with tent tickets can also utilize lawn seating to watch the bands.
On opening night, Friday, August 10, there will be a Friday Night Jazz Party, Auction and special concert. The ticket for event costs $75.00 at the gate.
Litchfield Jazz Festival Ticket Discounts 
Buy tickets in advance to get a discount. A Lawn Ticket will cost just $25.00, Tent Ticket just $55 and you’ll only pay $65 for the Friday Jazz Party and other events. They also offer discounts on the purchase of a JazzPass. A Jazz Pass is a multiple day pass. If you buy these in advance (before August 10th at 5pm) you’ll save 15%. A 2-Day Lawn Pass will cost just $43.00.

Litchfield Jazz Festival discount: Students under 25 get a $10 discount off the price of their ticket at the gate. In order to get the discount the student must present valid student ID.

The line-up for the Litchfield Jazz Festival includes the “Friends of the Festival” opening night gala on Friday, August 10, 2012 between 5:45 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. This is followed by the Four Freshman at 7:30 p.m. The Live Auction will be held between 8:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Vince Giordano & The Nighthawks perform at 9:30 p.m. followed by the 2012 Artist-in-Residence Gary Smulyan.

Litchfield Jazz Festival After Party and Open Jam
